{"id":1160,"date":"2022-04-03T13:47:23","date_gmt":"2022-04-03T11:47:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/?p=1160"},"modified":"2022-04-03T13:50:39","modified_gmt":"2022-04-03T11:50:39","slug":"power-bi-report-classifications-to-meet-company-irregularities-with-a-template","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/?p=1160","title":{"rendered":"Power BI report classifications to meet company irregularities by using a template"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the past, I think it was at the Power BI Summit in Amsterdam, I attended at a very cool session about assigning Power BI reports to different types of data classes. The idea is, to give the users an idea if the data and the measures are approved or more of self service without approved data sources. So, there are bronze, silver or gold reports. Bronze means, that the data is not approved, silver means, that the data is approved and gold means, that the data is from secured and approved data sources. The table shows the tooltip report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"945\" height=\"555\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9.png 945w, https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9-300x176.png 300w, https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9-768x451.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 945px) 100vw, 945px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, I\u2019ve saved the report as PBIT template to create new reports based on the report and, by creating new report, the users are enforced to provide the needed parameter values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The result is like that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"945\" height=\"503\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10.png 945w, https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10-300x160.png 300w, https:\/\/www.flip-design.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10-768x409.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 945px) 100vw, 945px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The solution can be used for import, direct query and hybring models.
