I recently created a new application using the Power BI Embedded Onboarding Tool. (https://app.powerbi.com/embedsetup/appownsdata) However, when I used it, I got the following error message:

Now I was looking for a way to fix this error message so that I could continue to use this application. First I activated the option for public client flows. Unfortunately, this did not work. The customer I tried this with also expanded the permitted users to the actual tenant. This made it work now. Therefore, please make the following settings when automatically creating the app:

Now the example report also works.
